‘They will take something’ – Tam McManus predicts result of Rangers clash v Aberdeen

Tam McManus has predicted that Aberdeen will take something from Rangers in the upcoming clash on Sunday afternoon.

The PLZ pundit has backed the Dons to draw 2-2 against the unbeaten Bears at Pittodrie, as they have a stronger squad than previously available.

Derek McInnes has shared that most of his players will be available after they were without the likes of Lewis Ferguson in the previous clash in that 4-0 defeat.

Speaking on the Football Show on PLZ Soccer on Friday, McManus made a bold prediction in the game at Pittodrie.

“Listening to Derek in his press conference yesterday, and he’s now thinking that he’s got most of his players back,” he said.

“He can give Rangers a better game. The two previous games, I think Aberdeen have been short, especially the game at Ibrox, missing a couple of players through COVID issues.

“I think that Aberdeen will definitely give Rangers a game, I think they will take something from the game. I think they’ll get a draw – 2-2.”

Rangers

It is currently one tough game after the other for the Bears this season.

After the troubling 1-0 victory in the Old Firm against Celtic, Steven Gerrard will have been wanting a so-called easier game than the Dons.

With Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe all missing, there will be notable absentees at Pittodrie too – something that shouldn’t affect the Gers too much.

Another three points would send out a massive message to the rest of the league, and also extend the gap to 22 points, hand us the title now?
