Some Rangers fans have been blown away by footage of Joe Aribo from Saturday’s game against Hibernian that was tweeted by the club.

In the dying moments of the match, Aribo nutmegged Hibs defender Josh Doig while keeping the ball in the far corner.

It was an incredible piece of skill from the midfielder and his quick feet helped to secure a vital 1-0 win for Rangers.

The Gers worked hard for their narrow win as they faced one of the few teams to take points off Steven Gerrard’s side this season.

The win was a worthy retort after the 2-2 draw at Easter Road earlier this season robbed the Gers of their historic defensive record.

It was Aribo’s second successive start in the Scottish Premiership as he continues to impress with his high work rate and impressive skill set.

There is plenty of competition for places in the Ibrox midfield and Aribo is showing that he can hold his own against the likes of Scott Arfield and Glen Kamara.

Gers fans loved the 24-year-old’s brilliant nutmeg against Hibs as it perfectly encapsulated the type of player that Aribo is.

He has all the tricks and confidence to pull them off but he does it effectively and doesn’t needlessly give the ball away.

One fan is even hoping that the Nigerian pulls the same trick in next week’s huge Old Firm clash.

Here is how Rangers fans reacted to Aribo’s moment of magic…
