Star striker Kemar Roofe has come in for plenty of praise from many Rangers supporters after yet another impressive display.

Roofe scored his 11th goal of the season against St Johnstone on Wednesday night and is currently enjoying a great run of form.

Nine of those goals have come in the Premiership, with Roofe scoring eight in his last 10 appearances across all competitions.

Only club captain James Tavernier has scored more goals than Roofe for the Gers this season, as he spearheads the title push.

Roofe’s great run of form has coincided with a spell out of the team for Alfredo Morelos, who recently returned from a two-match ban.

It has been suggested that the striker’s form has pushed him ahead of the Colombian in the pecking order at Rangers.

Roofe’s versatility has made him a huge asset to Steven Gerrard this season, with the former Oxford United man featuring centrally, but both out on the left and the right at times.

The 27-year-old signed a four-year deal at Ibrox in the summer after a spell in Belgium with Vincent Kompany’s Anderlecht and is now arguably enjoying some of the best football of his career to date.

Sky Sports described Roofe’s arrival at Rangers over the summer as a ‘big statement of intent’ and the forward is certainly surpassing expectations with his form during the first half of the campaign.

While other players may steal the headlines, these Rangers supporters on social media reserved some special praise Roofe, who continues to shine on all fronts for Gerrard’s side.

Here are some of the best reactions from social media after yet another goal for Roofe.
