‘Brilliant to see’ – Peter Crouch claims Steven Gerrard move would be ‘Amazing’

Peter Crouch has claimed it would be “amazing” to see Rangers boss Steven Gerrard take over from Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Rangers are still undefeated in all competitions this season and have been transformed by Gerrard and his coaching staff at Ibrox.

Crouch believes that having a Liverpool legend in charge of the club at Anfield would be incredible, and he is on his way to doing just that.

Writing in his Daily Mail column, Crouch has claimed that he has been blown away by the Bears in all competitions this season.

“It’s just brilliant to see, Jack,” he wrote. “I know there is focus on how poorly Celtic have been playing in Scotland but Rangers have been relentless and flying in Europe too.

“Look, Jurgen Klopp will be in charge until he wants but wouldn’t it be amazing to see a Scouser in charge of Liverpool?”

Although this is inevitable, we hope it isn’t for many more years to come.

Gerrard will not want to leave Ibrox until he has built a legacy, and he is definitely on his way to just doing that.

The Bears’ first goal is to prevent Celtic from winning 10 titles in a row, and after they’ve potentially done that, it is all about starting their own run of silverware.

With the Scottish League Cup up for grabs too, there is potential for the Gers to bring home the double, and kickstart their own run of dominance.

Crouch is spot on, Rangers are flying and Gerrard is pivotal to that – he’s going nowhere.
