Six changes & Helander on bench – Confirmed Rangers team news v Dundee United

Rangers have made six changes for their Scottish Premiership clash against Dundee United.

Steven Gerrard has brought back the familiar faces of Allan McGregor, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos at Tannadice.

Confirmed on their Twitter account prior to kick-off, the Bears have also welcomed back Filip Helander who takes his spot back on the bench.

Rangers have rotated their squad to great effect so far this season, and remain unbeaten in all competitions domestically and in Europe.

After securing progression in the Europa League, all concentration turns to the Scottish Premiership and the League Cup this week.

The likes of Nathan Patterson and Bongani Zungu came in against Lech Poznan through the week, handing valuable rests to the likes of James Tavernier and Steven Davis.

Those two have returned to the starting XI and were vital to breaking down the stubborn Ross County defence last weekend.

The Gers can go 16 points ahead of Celtic with three points at Tannadice, and all pressure will be on the Hoops to fire back this afternoon.

Neil Lennon is desperate for a win and will be praying that Dundee United can do him a massive favour on Sunday.

Rangers will be confident of repeating the 4-0 win from earlier in the season, with the Bears looking unstoppable at this moment in time.
