‘Take him off’, ‘Dreadful’ – Rangers fans blast ‘rotten’ ace at HT v Ross County
Some Rangers fans have blasted Alfredo Morelos after his poor first-half performance against Ross County.
The Gers are 1-0 up against the Staggies as Kemar Roofe stabbed home a James Tavernier cross just before the half-hour mark.
Roofe had a chance to double his side’s lead but he blasted his second effort over the Ross County bar as the Light Blues take a one-goal lead into the interval.
Morelos set the tone for his poor first half after kicking the ball out of play after just 20 seconds despite being under no pressure from anyone in a blue shirt.
The Colombian misplaced numerous passes and struggled with his first touch as he constantly gave the ball away.
Morelos barely had a sight of goal due to his poor touch as the forward looked very low on confidence.
Morelos hasn’t scored in the league since October’s 2-2 draw against Hibernian as he is struggling to recapture the form that Gers fans are used to seeing from him.
Some fans took to social media to criticise Morelos’ first touch while another joked that the Colombian had taped a trampoline to his shin pads.
Here is how some Gers fans reacted to Morelos’ first half against Ross County.

Hopefully, Morelos will improve in the second half and grab himself a goal to silence his critics.
One thing is for sure, Morelos’ performance couldn’t get any worse so the only way is surely up.
In other Rangers news, Steven Gerrard had made a prediction about his side’s January transfer window.
