Many Rangers fans have corrected a tweet from the Croatian national team after they praised Gers ace Borna Barisic.ย
Barisic scored a free kick in the Gers’ 4-0 win over Falkirk in the Scottish League Cup on Sunday and Croatia paid tribute to their international player with a tweet.
One line of the tweet said, “Pretty good to have a Croatia international in the team, right Rangers fans?”

Many Gers fans jokingly asked the reverse in reply with some asking the Croatian twitter account what it was like to have a Rangers player in their national team.
Barisic is one of the Gers’ most important players and fans were keen to make it clear that he should be considered a Rangers player before a Croatian international.
The left-back has been integral this season and he has contributed to his side’s outstanding defensive record as he has kept 12 league clean sheets in 13 appearances this term.
He has also registered two goals and nine assists in all competitions this season as he has shown he is as effective going forward as he is at the back.
Many Gers fans also heaped praise on Barisic in reply to Croatia’s tweet as some compared him to other Croatian Rangers players, as well as pointing out the ‘mistake’ in the tweet.
Here is how some Rangers fans reacted to Croatia’s tweet.
You got that wrong. Should be us asking you if itโs good to have a Rangers legend in the Croatia team ๐ค ?
