Rangers have made two changes to their starting XI for the crunch Europa League clash against Benfica at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard has brought in Steven Davis and Glen Kamara for the game in which the Gers can take control of their group.

Confirmed on their Twitter account prior to kick-off, Ryan Jack and Joe Aribo have dropped out of the side that beat Aberdeen.

Ryan Jack completed a late fitness test after picking up a knock in the 4-0 win against Aberdeen last weekend and must not have been deemed fit.

New signing Bongani Zungu wasn’t as lucky and didn’t even face a test before being ruled out of the clash against the Portuguese giants.

It was rotten luck for the South African international, who has suffered from injuries throughout his career – something Rangers fans were devastated with.

Worryingly, Aribo missed out completely on the squad, with Ianis Hagi and Brandon Barker both featuring on the bench.

Rangers will be looking to right the wrongs of the reverse clash before the international break, where they let their lead slip late on.

Despite Benfica having 10 men for the majority of the game, and having a two-goal lead, the Bears still managed to draw 3-3.

Three points would put Rangers in total control of their group and would see them create a three-point gap ahead of Benfica.

Should Lech Poznan lose to Standard Liege, and the Light Blues win, it would confirm their progression into the knockout stages.
