Some Rangers fans have heaped praise on Ryan Kent’s goal against Aberdeen after the club tweeted a video showing an alternative angle of the strike.
Kent nutmegged Dons midfielder Funso Ojo before lashing the ball past Joe Lewis in the Aberdeen net to open the scoring for the Gers in their 4-0 demolition this weekend.
The original angle of the goal did justice to the strike but the alternative angle shown by the Rangers FC Twitter account takes it to another level.

You can hear how the Gers players and staff reacted in an empty Ibrox and it highlights how much of a shame it is that there were no fans in the ground to witness the strike first hand.
The nutmeg was cheeky enough from Kent but the audacity to shoot from range and beat the goalkeeper, albeit with a slight deflection, is a testament to not only Kent’s ability but his confidence.
Some Rangers fans replied to the club’s tweet and praised not only the goal but how well Kent played as one fan compared him to Gers legend Paul Gascoigne.
Here are how some Gers fans reacted to this new footage.
Thought RK looked like he had benefitted from a rest as he looked as sharp as he has for a while
Great skill for the goal

Vision, technique, pace & skill. That goal had it all, let’s see more of that from Kent, goes from a good to an excellent player if he can do it more often 🔴⚪️🔵

Gers fans will be hoping for more of the same from Kent in Thursday’s vital clash against Benfica as Rangers look to take a huge step towards qualification for the Europa League knockout rounds.
