‘Rangers fans love you’, ‘Top class’ – Many Bears blown away by U18s talent v Celtic

Rangers have been made to wait to continue their fantastic run of form in the Scottish Premiership during this international break.

It’s not just the first team who are cruising though, with the under-18s sweeping aside Celtic easily on Friday in a 3-0 win.

Goals from Nathan Young-Coombes, Tyler Pasnik and James Graham were enough to pick up yet another Old Firm victory for the Bears.

Young-Coombes arrived at Ibrox from Premier League side Chelsea last year and has continued to make a name for himself in the youth levels.

The youngster immediately jumped into the under-21s and scored against Wrexham after arriving, although he continues to impress at every level.

The 17-year-old was rumoured to be leaving Glasgow after only one year at the club, but that appears to have been silenced.

Four Lads Had a Dream reported that Young-Coombes was set to join West Ham back in July, thankfully that didn’t happen.

It is clear to see why more Premier League sides were interested after his move from Chelsea, but to see that move collapse will have been a great confidence boost to the Gers.

Many Rangers fans have reacted to the youngster finding the back of the net against Celtic, claiming he is doing all the right things.

The majority believe that Young-Coombes is well on the way to the first-team, although we question whether he actually is, given our strength in depth – but, he is certainly impressing.
