‘MOTM’, ‘Excellent’ – Many fans stunned by ‘Underrated’ Rangers player in int’l showdown
Rangers and Scotland fans have been waxing lyrical about Ryan Jack after the midfielder impressed for the Tartan Army against Israel on Wednesday night.
Although Scotland lost 1-0 in Netanya and saw their hopes of promotion in the Nations League dashed, Jack managed to shine yet again while on international duty with Steve Clarke’s side.
According to stats by WyScout, Jack misplaced just two of the 66 passes he attempted. Both of his passes into the penalty area also found a team-mate and 10 of his 11 passes into the final third were also successful.
Off the ball, the Rangers midfielder completed five interceptions and an incredible 15 recoveries – his joint-best tally this season for both the Gers and Scotland.
Jack has been outstanding for the Light Blues this season and he also has been for Scotland but due to him being a former Aberdeen player who now plays at Ibrox, he’s regularly received criticism from those who cannot see past their club allegiances on international breaks.
But some Scotland fans do admire Jack and, unsurprisingly, so do the Rangers supporters who tuned in to watch the 1-0 defeat in Israel on Thursday.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

Jack was incredible on Thursday and anyone who cannot see that either have no clue about football or support Celtic or Aberdeen.
If you’re a Rangers fan or just a general rational football supporter, you will be able to see how good Jack was against Israel.
But it’s not surprising for us.
Jack has performed at that level in almost every single appearance this season for both the Gers and Scotland.
He is a credit to both his club and his country and we’re all lucky to have him.
In other Rangers news, five Aberdeen players have been ruled out of the clash at Ibrox this weekend.
