‘Absolutely flying’, ‘Our answer’ – Many Bears in awe of ‘outstanding’ Rangers player v Hamilton
Well, where to start with the game on Sunday? This was simply sensational stuff, with Rangers blowing away a sorry Hamilton side who are already looking forlorn at the bottom of the Premiership.
This was all about Rangers though and if they were favourites for the title now, the odds have suddenly shrunk again.
Eight goals and nine points clear at the top. It’s a sight to behold and there were many Gers players that stood out on Sunday.
One was Kemar Roofe, who showed that he might have solved a problem for Gerrard – how to include both Roofe and/or Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe.
One Rangers fan said he was “our answer” out on the right and this was certainly his best performance in a Rangers shirt since he signed.
His all-round game was brilliant, scoring two and setting one up for Joe Aribo.
And, while the goals are flying in at one end, the defence is performing miracles.
Rangers still haven’t conceded a goal at Ibrox in the league this season and the combination has got to have Celtic fans fearing the worst.
Many Gers fans agreed this was Roofe’s best game for the club and one said that the combination of Ryan Kent and Roofe either side of Alfredo Morelos is “mouth-watering”.
