‘Glimpse of Joe Worrall’ – Many Rangers fans slam player who was ‘bullied’ in win v Killie

Rangers continued their stunning run of form on Sunday, with a battling 1-0 victory against Kilmarnock.

The Gers have struggled in recent years at Rugby Park and should have won by a larger margin, missing numerous clear chances.

Importantly, it was another clean sheet for Steven Gerrard’s men, who extended their lead at the top of the league to nine points.

Gerrard appears to have found the perfect formula in defence at Ibrox, with Filip Helander coming back in after Leon Balogun’s cameo against Lech Poznan.

The Swedish enforcer has formed a good partnership with Conor Goldson, who appears to be the number one choice in Glasgow after his perfect start to the season.

Helander is looking to cement his spot, although he did struggle at points during the game at Rugby Park – something that has happened before.

The 27-year-old isn’t a massive fan of the plastic pitch at Kilmarnock, and it was clear that he was targeted as the game went on by the home side.

Balogun was brought on towards the end of the clash to help sure up the defence, a smart move given the struggles of Helander.

Many Rangers fans have reacted to his performance in the 1-0 win, with the majority claiming that he gave them the fear throughout the game.

Some even believed that Balogun should have kept his spot in the side after his performance against Poznan in midweek.
