‘£80m and they can have him’ – Many Rangers fans hit back at player transfer report
Rangers fans have been slapping all kinds of price-tags on Glen Kamara in response to a report which clubs a number of clubs in England and across Europe are interested in the midfielder.
According to TeamTalk, Leeds, Everton, Southampton, Burnley, Brighton, Newcastle, Sheffield United, Brentford, Monaco, Lille, Borussia Dortmund, Dinamo Moscow and Dynamo Kiev are all admirers of the 24-year-old Finland international.
It’s no surprise that there’s interest in Kamara after how well he’s started the season at Ibrox.
Rangers fans have seen plenty of their best players linked with moves away from Ibrox in recent years with Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and James Tavernier all seeing their futures come under the microscope of the media.
However not much has been said about Kamara’s future until now – and Rangers fans are seeing it as an opportunity for the club to make a record-breaking sale if interested parties firm up their interest with a bid.
Here is a selection of their tweets:

From £10million to £80million; it’s fair to say that Rangers fans cannot agree among them how much the Finland international is actually worth.
Several things need to be factored into the player’s potential transfer value with the main ones being how much Rangers paid for him and how long he has left on his contract.
Kamara joined the Gers for £50,000 from Dundee last January, but that was kind of a false figure because he’d already agreed to head to Ibrox after agreeing a pre-contract.
Yes, it was a bargain but everyone knew that Kamara was worth up to 10 times that amount.
Since moving to Ibrox, Kamara has become a star of the Finland national team, played regularly in the Europa League and has helped the Gers improve to the point where they are serious silverware contenders.
One fan said that the bidding should start at £10million and that’s perhaps a more realistic valuation of the Finnish star.
In other Rangers news, Tam McManus has suggested that Celtic should sack Neil Lennon amid a claim about the Gers.
