‘Honking’, ‘Would score for fun’ – Many Rangers fans split by transfer report on 28y/o ace
Rangers fans are seemingly divided over the prospect of signing Stoke City forward attacker Tom Ince.
The Gers were named in a report from TEAMtalk alongside Celtic and West Brom as one of a number of clubs who are keen on the 28-year-old, who could be on the move in the coming days.
It is understood that Ince has fallen out of favour with the Potters, after not playing in any of their opening three Championship games this season.
And there are a substantial number of Rangers supporters who are not best pleased about the idea of him rocking up at Ibrox before the transfer window closes next week.
Ince hardly set the Championship alight last term, scoring just three times in 40 appearances.
But, as previously discussed by Ibrox News, there is no doubting that he is a class act on his day.
Ince’s shot accuracy last term was a more than 18% better than Brandon Barker’s has been this season, as per Wyscout, and it wasn’t too long ago that he was adjudged to be a £10 million player.
Of course, we understand the scepticism, and you could argue that Rangers aren’t in desperate need of a playmaker or a winger right now, but the chances are that this would be a temporary deal, and it could be the one that reignites a spark under Ince.
If we could get it done, we would be in favour.
Not every Rangers fans agrees though:

There were some supporters who were a lot more receptive to the idea, however:

In other news, Rangers ace proves he is exciting alternative to Gers regular in Sunday masterclass.
