Ibrox View: Attacker to get first 20/21 start in 2 key changes – Predicted Rangers XI v Willem
We think Steven Gerrard will make two changes to the side which drew with Hibs, when Rangers take on Dutch side Willem II in the Europa League on Thursday.
Rangers will want to respond to last weekend’s disappointing draw with a reaction and a vital away win when they take to the field at Koning Willem II Stadion. The single-leg qualifiers give no room for error.
And, with Rangers now needing a win this weekend against Motherwell to keep the pressure on Celtic, Gerrard will be using the depth in his squad wisely, while keeping plenty of first-team players in the starting eleven.
Willem II will prove to be a harder challenge than Lincoln Red Imps with the Dutch side winning their opening game 5-0, just like Rangers. This is why we predict Gerrard will make just two changes from the Gers’ last game against Hibs.
The big question will be who will lead the attack, with Kemar Roofe out but Jermain Defoe back.
All this could come down to the status of Morelos, who continues under heavy speculation of a move to France.

If Defoe starts, then that’s a big sign of what’s to come, with the end of the transfer window approaching.
We think the defence and midfield will stay the same from the Hibs game, with Ryan Kent and Ianis Hagi playing in attack.
Allan McGregor could return in net after not featuring against Hibs, with Jon McLaughlin suffering a dip in form in his last outing.
In other Rangers news, Ibrox View: BBC pundit rant surely shows that Rangers player needs to fix up or face axe.
