Exclusive: Glasgow Live journo backs Ryan Kent to ‘stay put’ at Rangers
Ibrox News recently conducted an exclusive interview with Glasgow Live journalist Chris Doyle to get his views on some of the biggest talking points involving Rangers right now…

Rangers talisman Ryan Kent is unlikely to leave the club this summer unless a “crazy” bid is submitted, according to Glasgow Live journalist Chris Doyle.
Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, the reliable reporter emphasised that the 23-year-old is content with his current situation in Scotland, having started the season in fine form.
Gers boss Steven Gerrard confirmed last month that his side had received a bid for Kent from Leeds United.
The manager also made it very clear that he has no intention of selling the player before the transfer window closes – and Doyle believes that he will succeed in hanging onto the wide man.
Speaking to Ibrox News, he said: “I don’t really see a move happening, unless there is some crazy bid that took it out of Gerrard’s hands.
“We’ve heard noises from Kent saying he’s pretty happy to stay and it would be his final decision. Gerrard doesn’t want to lose him. He’s started the season really well.
“You can see why Leeds would be interested, but I think he’s going to stay put.
“He will want to make a step up eventually, but I don’t see it being for a few years.”
Kent has started the 2020/21 in fine form, registering three goals and two assists in six Scottish Premiership outings.
The Scottish Sun have previously reported that the ex-Liverpool talent has made it clear to Gerrard that he wishes to remain at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, we bring you another exclusive, as Frank McAvennie claims Alfredo Morelos could upset the Ibrox dressing room if he stays.
