Ibrox View: Has official post dropped big hint about new Rangers kit supplier?

Rangers are set for a new kit manufacturer for the 20/21 season, with the three-year deal with Hummel getting terminated two years in.

And we think that Rangers might have just dropped a big hint as to who it might be.

They posted two images on their official Twitter page today about new hospitality suites set to be completed before the 150th Anniversary season in 21/22.

The Blue Sky lounge features “one of the finest panoramic pitch views in European football stretching the length of the Sandy Jardine stand with an increased capacity of premium seats”.

But it was the Club 72 mock-up that caught the attention of several eagle-eyed fans.

Club 72 “will retain its celebratory theme from the famous 1972 European Cup Winners Cup victory in Barcelona, whilst revolutionizing the lounges into modern sports bars, with a contemporary casual dining experience, alongside state-of-the art screens and technology.”

The screen in the bar was adorned with Puma livery.

Now true, the screen is also showing an old picture of Martyn Waghorn scoring so there might be nothing in it.

However, the artist has had to create this image so we’d be surprised if he’s put Puma’s logos in there without the knowledge of the club.

For now, we don’t even know when the 19/20 season will end and the 20/21 will begin. But we do know that Rangers will be in a new kit next season – and it might well be Puma.
