Report – Rangers dealt double injury blow ahead of midweek clash v Hamilton
Rangers midfielders Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield are both set to miss the Gers’ Scottish Premiership clash with Hamilton in midweek, as per the Scottish Sun.
The pair were both forced to withdraw during the shock 1-0 Scottish Cup defeat to Hearts on Saturday, and are both expected to be absent from the meeting at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
Jack limped off during the second half of the Bears’ outing on Saturday, but is expected to be in contention to make a return against Ross County at the weekend.

For his part, Arfield could be facing a longer spell on the sidelines after being withdrawn before the interval against Hearts with an apparent hamstring complaint.
How much of a blow could this be for Rangers?
When things are as uncertain as they are at Ibrox right now, the last thing you need is inconsistency.
The Gers are in a pretty dire place right now, especially after that disastrous defeat against Hearts, and Steven Gerrard will have been hoping to have all hands to the pump in an effort to snap his side out of this slump.
Instead, he will go into a must-win clash against Hamilton without two of his most important midfielders.
Jack has an average of 79.01 successful actions per game this season, including a completion rate of 76.4%, as per Wyscout, while Arfield has averaged 18.41 duels won and has a pass completion rate in excess of 80%, as per the same source.
In short, they are battlers, and in many respects represent the glue that holds this side together.
Without the pair of them, things could go from bad to worse if Gerrard and his squad aren’t careful.
