Report – 25 scout transfer mission revealed during Rangers clash v Braga
Scouts from 25 of Europe’s best and brightest teams were in attendance to witness Rangers beat SC Braga 1-0 last night, according to the Daily Record.
The Gers advanced to the last 16 of the Europa League with a well-executed game plan that saw them soak up an abundance of pressure from the Portuguese side before hitting them on the break with a composed Ryan Kent strike.
That secured a 4-2 aggregate victory for Steven Gerrard’s men, who are the first side to have ensured their passage through to the next round.
And it would appear that their efforts are catching the eye of several clubs around Europe too.
As per the Record, a host of continental powerhouses had representatives in the stands in Portugal on Wednesday.

What does this mean?
More than likely, it means that there are Rangers players who are attracting transfer interest from across Europe.
Of course, it’s very probable that some of those clubs were there to watch Braga players too, especially considering how impressive their form has been prior to the two defeats to the Gers in the past week.
But there is certainly talent at Ibrox which could suitors excited.
Ianis Hagi is said to have his pursuers, although the Gers do have first refusal on making his loan move permanent.
Similarly, even though he was absent yesterday, Alfredo Morelos is a darling of the rumour mills, and was a target for both Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan last month, as per Football Insider.
Reports like this one hint at a busy, difficult summer ahead for the Bears.
