Steven Gerrard named a predictably strong Rangers team to face Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The team was the one we predicted bar one player, with Gerrard plumping for Sheyi Ojo on the right rather than Brandon Barker.

Alfredo Morelos leads the line as expected but there was one bit of bad news with Jermain Defoe not travelling to the Netherlands for the game after picking up an injury in training.

The majority of the Rangers fans were pleased with the line-up but Ojo got a pretty hostile reaction from some supporters.

It seems a bit harsh. Barker didn’t have a great game last time out in the Europa and Ojo scored the winner in the 1-0 victory over Feyenoord at Ibrox.

It seems that’s won him another crack at a Dutch side who have a new manager in Dick Advocaat and some key injuries.

A win or a draw against Feyenoord tonight could see Rangers qualify with a game in hand if the other result goes their way.

Young Boys host Porto and a win for the home side would see Rangers through with just a point.

Meanwhile, here are the best of the reactions from Rangers fans to Ojo starting…
