It’s a massive game for Rangers on Thursday – the start of a period through to the winter break that could define their season.
That includes a cup final and two Old Firm clashes, but before that fun there are two huge Europa games.
Rangers can qualify for the Europa knockout stages with a win or a point against Feyenoord if the other result goes their way.
If Young Boys draw with Porto, a win would see Rangers through. If Young Boys win, Rangers can qualify with a point.
A win isn’t unlikely. Feyenoord have a new manager in Dick Advocaat and are missing a couple of key players through injury.
Rangers are on a roll, sit joint top of the Premiership and have a full squad to choose from.
Alfredo Morelos was rested on Sunday against Hamilton and he’ll be raring to go on Thursday. He’ll lead the line.
Ryant Kent should start on the left and it looks like a toss-up between Sheyi Ojo and Brandon Barker on the right. Barker was preferred in the last Europa game against Porto and we think he’ll get the nod again.
The rest of the team picks itself really, with a settled Rangers defence in Borna Barisic, Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and James Tavernier.
Glen Kamara, Ryan Jack and Steven Davis should take the midfield spots with Allan McGregor in between the sticks.
This is the side that we think can take a huge step forward for Rangers in Europe on Thursday evening.
