Ibrox View: Defoe and Foderingham to start – Predicted Rangers XI v Ross County

Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister said that he hoped to have all his players fit for the game against Ross County in the Premiership tonight.

However, Allan McGregor and Brandon Barker were doubts and we don’t think either will play tonight with a cup game against Hearts at the weekend.

We also think Jermain Defoe will drop to the bench and Alfredo Morelos will lead the line.

Ryan Kent should be available but we think he’ll be rested after McAllister said that he needs to be managed.

James Tavernier should play but whether he takes the next penalty is a different question. He’s missed three of his five attempts so far this season and that will surely signify another spot-kick taker.

Rangers start the night on the same points as Celtic at the top of the league.

Filip Helander will be looking to capitalise on some recent great form, to continue the partnership with Connor Goldson in the centre of defence.

He scored the winning goal against Motherwell on Sunday that’s kept Gers up with their rivals at the top of the table.
