Steven Gerrard played for Rangers for the first time in the Legends game at the weekend, and home and away fans have reacted to the sight of the Liverpool legend in blue.
Liverpool won the game 3-2 with goals from Luis Garcia, Patrick Berger and Emile Heskey enough to overcome strikes from Kris Boyd and Peter Lovenkrands. All five goals came in the first half.
Gerrard came on for Rangers with just 10 minutes left and couldn’t find the equaliser that would have finished the afternoon off perfectly for the home fans.

The manager made a big impact though, taking a shot with almost his first contribution that was blocked as it looked to be heading on target.
He then played in Nacho Novo who went close before he found Alex Rae who cut inside and hit the crossbar.
Rangers fans were loving the sight of Gerrard playing for them. The Liverpool fans? Not so much, with the Rangers kit looking a bit too much like Everton for their liking.

It felt weird for me as a Liverpool fan seeing him in blue, but am very happy he is doing very well at Rangers. Hope you guys win SPL this season. I cried a little when he was welcomed into the pitch by the cheers and claps wearing blue.
