Three Rangers players whose futures could be decided by January

With the transfer window over, Rangers' current crop of players will have to remain at Ibrox until at least January.

For many, they may have wanted to seek a new challenge, and get guaranteed game time elsewhere.

Others will want to stick around and compete for their place in Derek McInnes' squad.

However, these next few months will likely tell us a lot about the future of those within the Rangers roster.

For some, regular opportunities could strengthen their position, while others may find themselves pushed further down the pecking order.

And that will leave Rangers with decisions to make in January.

Why Nicolas Raskin will remain Rangers hottest January topic

It looked like all summer that Nicolas Raskin would be sold by Rangers, however, in the end, the Belgian has remained.

The Bears did not receive any suitable offers for the midfielder, and he will now play a role for the Glasgow side until at least January.

Interest in the midfielder is certain to still be there when the winter window comes around.

Whether a failed move away from Rangers will affect Raskin's performances still remains to be seen.

But, it does feel like he is one of the likely players to leave in January.

Can Bojan Miovski change his Rangers fortunes?

With Rangers seeing Youssef Chermiti out for a long spell and now Lawrence Shankland succumbing to a significant hamstring injury, Bojan Miovski may have life yet at Ibrox.

Rangers have five strikers currently, and the North Macedonian was likely to be fifth choice.

But, now he has moved up due to the lack of options.

Ryan Naderi and Kevin Kelsy will be ahead of him, but opportunities are sure to land at some point.

Depending on how Miovski performs that will decide whether or not he will see out the rest of the season, or depart in January.

The Russell Martin signing could yet work out in G51.

Why Findlay Curtis may question Rangers future

Like Miovski, Findlay Curtis is in a position that has plenty of depth.

However, there are currently no injuries to any of the players around him in the pecking order.

Curtis is capable of playing on either wing, but he is likely to be third choice on both the left and right.

With that being the case, depending on how often he plays, Curtis may be better off spending the second half of the season out on loan, where he could get more minutes.
