The questionable fee Rangers are set to land as Thelo Aasgaard exit confirmed
Thelo Aasgaard became the latest player to leave Rangers on Wednesday with his move to Anderlecht confirmed.
The Norway international will join the Belgian side on an initial season-long loan.
Anderlecht then have the option to make that permanent at the end of the campaign.
Aasgaard only joined Rangers a year ago from Luton Town in a reported £3.5million transfer.
He is already off, though, with the financial details of the move now emerging.

How much profit will Rangers make from Thelo Aasgaard?
Aasgaard's playing time has suffered after a slow start to the season, coming off the back of a long World Cup campaign for Norway.
Still, the 24-year-old was one of the Gers' better performers last season as he scored seven goals and assisted four in 33 appearances.
Rangers decided to accept Anderlecht's offer late on Wednesday, though, with the Daily Mail reporting the initial loan is worth £1m.
The Gers will then land a further £4m if Anderlecht decide to purchase the attacker at the end of the season.
That total of £5m would land Rangers a profit of around £3.5m, but that is hardly much to shout about.
Indeed, given there was talk of a £6m exit, this sum is rather questionable from Rangers' perspective.
Will Nicolas Raskin follow Aasgaard out of Rangers door?
Nicolas Raskin is another Rangers player who has been heavily linked with the exit ahead of the various transfer windows closing.
Besiktas had an offer rejected for Raskin on Wednesday, with that reported to also be an initial loan with an option to buy.
A new offer has been made by Besiktas for Raskin, this time for a straight permanent deal.
However, it is believed Rangers have also knocked that back, with Derek McInnes fully expecting the Belgian to now stay at Ibrox.
That is not to say there will not be more exits - and indeed arrivals - on the final day of business for the Gers.
