Robin Propper will undergo his medical on Wednesday, 31 July, ahead of a transfer to Rangers, according to Tubantia.

The Dutch media outlet reported on 31 July that it appeared his teammate Mees Hilgers would be leaving, but instead, the 30-year-old will part ways with the club.

The centre-back will follow the likes of Vaclav Cerny, Hamza Igamane, Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, Liam Kelly, Connor Barron, and Oscar Cortes, all of whom sealed permanent Ibrox moves this summer.

Rangers must now go all in on signing a new striker

Propper's style of play, characterised by his composure on the ball and ability to build attacks from the defence, will benefit Philippe Clement's tactical approach at Ibrox.

His experience and leadership qualities will also be invaluable following the departure of Connor Goldson.

Rangers must now go all in on signing a new striker to address their goalscoring issues.

Despite the arrival of Danilo and Cyriel Dessers last summer, the team has struggled to consistently find the net.

A new, prolific striker could significantly boost their attacking prowess and enhance their chances in both domestic and European competitions.

Lawrence Shankland is a name that's been thrown around a lot and it could be worth loosening the purse strings to bring the Hearts striker to Ibrox.

He's proven himself consistently in the SPFL and has been on the club's radar for over a year so it only makes sense to pursue that transfer.
