Rangers: What Joe Gelhardt has said about his future as Leeds United exit update emerges
Joe Gelhardt has been linked with a summer move to Rangers.
There is ongoing speculation about the versatile striker's future, with his exit from Leeds United looking likely.
Gelhardt spent last season on loan with Championship play-off winners Hull City, as the Tigers are also keen on bringing him back to the MKM Stadium.
The Bears have already strengthened their front line with the addition of Lawrence Shankland, but it is expected that the club will try to land another new attacker.
The Gers were first linked with the Leeds outcast under Danny Rohl, and it remains to be seen whether the Light Blues will make another push now that Derek McInnes is at the helm.
However, if Rangers do make a move, they may be forced into paying big money to sign Gelhardt.

Alan Nixon has reported via his Patreon that Gelhardt has landed himself "an even bigger deal" in his final year at Leeds.
While this doesn't necessarily mean his market value will increase, the Englishman is now seen as what Nixon describes as a "major investment" due to his salary increase, with Hull keen on him returning permanently.
However, Rangers were linked with a move for Gelhardt in April, and it was suggested that there was a link due to the 49ers' affiliation with Leeds.
Everything looks like the 24-year-old will leave Elland Road this summer, but time will tell if Ibrox will be where he ends up.
Gelhardt has already spoken out about his future prior to last season's conclusion.
Gelhardt has already said what he wants to happen this summer
There's every chance that Rangers could try to get a sweeter deal for Gelhardt due to the 49ers' links
However, the Leeds man may want a return to Hull over any other club this summer.
After being asked about his future in May, Gelhardt told Hull Live: "Let's see what happens over the summer, but it's pretty clear what I want to do. It's amazing, it feels brilliant.
"To get back to the Premier League with Hull City, I love the club, I'm buzzing, I'm absolutely buzzing."
However, Rangers have already shown that they can steal some players away from Hull, as seen in the capture of Ivor Pandur.
Maybe the Gers could convince Gelhardt to do the same.
