Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen have only seven days remaining to bolster the Rangers squad in the winter transfer window.

Thus far, only Lille loanee Rafael Fernandes has arrived at Ibrox, despite plenty of areas across the pitch that need strengthening before the window closes on 3 February.

The Light Blues have been somewhat successful in terms of outgoings, with Alex Lowry joining Cole McKinnon and Robbie Fraser out the door after completing a permanent switch to Wycombe Wanderers.

Kieran Dowell, meanwhile, completed a loan switch to Birmingham City on Monday (27 January).

More movement is expected on Clement's outgoings as the Belgian prepares to offload talent to fund whatever business remains in the final days of the window.

With that in mind, Ibrox News rounds up all of the day's transfer talk.

After being alerted to the Gers' stance, the Serie A outfit are preparing to sign Hagi before the end of the transfer window.

As things stand, Rangers have no intention of offering the Romanian fresh terms at Ibrox, as his contract expires at the end of the season [Calcio Genoa].

Although Hagi had planned to leave for Genoa at the end of his deal, club president Dan Sucu wants an agreement to be struck immediately.

The 31-year-old is another senior squad member in the final months of his contract and is expected to leave Ibrox.

According to Darren Witcoop (27 January), Lawrence is attracting interest south of the border and abroad in the final days of the winter transfer window.

Lawrence has endured an injury-hit season at Ibrox this year and will be allowed to leave for Clement to free up more budget for potential incomings.

In a surprise turn of events, Brazilian news outlet Central Fluminense reported on Monday (27 January) that Premier League giants Chelsea have made a move for Jefte.

The 21-year-old has attracted interest from the English top flight for his performances at Ibrox this year having only arrived in Scotland via Fluminense last summer.

Although an agreement is unlikely to be reached before the deadline, Enzo Mareca is willing to resume the negotiations at the end of the season.

The Gers are monitoring Emmanuel Dennis's developments after the forward was frozen out of the Nottingham Forest first team set-up.

As per Alan Nixon (27 January), Rangers have joined a handful of Championship clubs for the 27-year-old's services.

Nottingham Forest is eager to remove Dennis' salary from the books at the City Ground and are willing to discuss either a loan exit or a permanent deal.
