Rangers forward Ross McCausland has sent a social media message to Isaac Price after completing a move to West Brom.

The Northern Ireland international moved to The Hawthorns on 22 January after agreeing a £2.5million deal to leave Standard Liege [Sacha Tavolieri].

The 21-year-old is highly rated in his homeland which is reflected by the Gers forward McCausland reaching out via Instagram on Wednesday (22 January).

He said: "Best of luck brother."

It has not been an easy campaign for the 21-year-old who has struggled with injuries which have limited his minutes under Philippe Clement.

As a result, the wide man has failed to get on the scoresheet in the Scottish Premiership this season but has only made three starts.

After being a regular last year, making 39 appearances in all competitions, this will be disappointing for McCausland who may be hoping for a better second half of the season.

The Northern Irishman did make a substitute cameo against St Johnstone but that was only his third showing since the start of December.

Regardless of these issues, it is clear that the winger is still a good teammate and will continue to back his club and international colleagues.

Price has made the move to join West Brom and will be hopeful of having a positive impact under Tony Mowbray and so will the Gers forward, despite his new manager's Celtic links.
