Nicolas Raskin is already one of the stories of this summer at Rangers.

The midfield star is currently at the World Cup with Belgium, coming off the bench in a 1-1 draw versus Egypt on Monday.

Raskin consistently starred for the Bears last season, despite a rocky start to the campaign under Russell Martin.

The pair famously fell out, which nearly led to his Ibrox exit, before Danny Rohl came in and mended bridges.

Now, Raskin enters another summer starting with transfer rumours, but all down to his skill, rather than attitude.

Atalanta are the latest big-name side to take a liking to the midfielder, who won't resolve much while in North America with his country.

What have Rangers said about Nicolas Raskin interest?

Andrew Cavenagh has promised transfer backing again this summer for his manager, but sales may come with that.

With Rohl on his way out for RB Salzburg and Derek McInnes already agreeing to take over in Govan, strategies could change.

The Scotsman may want to keep Raskin regardless, but right now, his market value has never been higher.

It has now been reported by the Rangers Review that they are braced for bids this summer, following the interest from Italy.

Rangers sources, however, insist that they will be strong in their valuation of Raskin, with nothing received so far.

What is next at busy Ibrox?

Right now, it is all about sorting this managerial mess.

It's no secret that Rohl is on the way out, and McInnes will replace him, but it can't be allowed to drag on for too long.

Thankfully, with the World Cup just starting, there is time before pre-season gets underway.

Raskin likely won't even be available when players return to Auchenhowie and meet McInnes, so it doesn't make too much of a difference.

Then there is the likes of Lawrence Shankland and Findlay Curtis, already shining with Scotland on the big stage, before returning for a huge season between them.

Rangers are said to be actively hunting midfielders, so that may be McInnes' first task, and the possible exit of Raskin will only amplify that further.

Either way, changes are coming.
