Rangers should look to sell two ageing stars in the January transfer window.

The Gers are struggling under Philippe Clement this season and find themselves 11 points behind arch-rivals Celtic.

They are also seven points behind Aberdeen and pressure is increasing on the Belgian manager as a result.

They should look to sell Cyriel Dessers and Robin Propper as neither have what it takes to succeed at the club.

Dessers and Propper should be shown Rangers exit door

The Nigerian striker has scored six goals in 13 appearances in the Scottish Premiership so far this season but has fallen down the pecking order in recent weeks.

His two goals in the 6-0 win over Kilmarnock came after the game was already over, the Gers were four-nil up when he scored his brace.

The 29-year-old has not started in the last three matches with Danilo returning from injury and the emergency of Hamza Igamane and could fetch a decent amount of money in the transfer market.

Meanwhile, Propper has failed to settle into Scottish football since his £3.2 million move from FC Twente.

He has featured for just 196 minutes through the last six matches, not coming off the substitutes bench in three of them and he is too old to spend multiple years learning how the Scottish game works.

The Gers should try and get a solid fee by selling him back to a club in Holland.

In other Rangers news, Clement received a round of applause for what he said at the club's AGM.
