One thing that Rangers fans can agree on is that change was needed at Ibrox.

Since the departure of Steven Gerrard the Gers have yet to lift the Scottish Premiership title, collapsing on numerous different occasions.

Despite the transfer window only being open for less than a month, plenty of change has occurred.

Phillipe Clement has already added a few players to his ranks and looks set to add more [FC Update, 27 June].

Theo Bair was rumoured to be one of those included in the Rangers shake-up, however, the Gers are yet to make a bid for the 15-goal striker.

“There’s been plenty of concrete interest in Theo. There’s been a couple of concrete bids from clubs in two of Europe’s top five leagues," said Stuart Kettlewell to the Scottish Sun.

“I won’t name the clubs or countries but they have not been from inside Scotland.

“He’s very much ours until someone puts something in front of us that we can’t refuse."

Why Rangers should be looking to sign Theo Bair this summer

Upon the expiry of Kemar Roofe’s contract, the attacker was released from the Glasgow-based outfit.

And, although Clement has the likes of Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers in his ranks, the Gers could do with an improvement in attack, especially if the latter leaves in the transfer window [Soccernet, 25 June].

Cyriel Dessers
Cyriel Dessers has scored 21 goals in all competitions during his first season at Rangers.

Bair is a proven clinical finisher and would be an ideal match for Rangers’ vision.

The club has already started the build for the future with Connor Barron so a move for Bair makes sense.

However, they will have to move quickly to secure his services.
