Rangers midfielder Ianis Hagi has been transfer listed by the club and could even make a historic move to Turkey with Galatasaray, according to Fanatik.

The Turkish outlet stated that Hagi had been put on the Ibrox sales list ahead of the summer transfer window, with Galatasaray interested in reuniting the 25-year-old with the club where his father Gheorge became one of the best players in Europe.

Hagi has not featured under current manager Philippe Clement, having been sent out on loan to La Liga side Alaves at the start of this season by Michael Beale.

However, Clement reportedly does not see the Romanian playmaker as part of his future plans for the new campaign, alerting Galatasaray to his impending availability.

Hagi ready for new chapter with no future at Rangers

Rangers initially looked to have unearthed a gem in Hagi, who after a brief loan spell at the club from Genk in 2020, signed permanently that summer and immediately became a regular under Steven Gerrard.

His combinations with Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe helped break Celtic's era of dominance and win the Scottish Premiership in 2021, but it's safe to say he's stagnated since.

Philippe Clement doesn't see Ianis Hagi as part of his future plans at Rangers.

Hagi's appearance numbers have lessened with each passing season, and he made just two during this campaign in the Scottish League Cup and Champions League respectively before being loaned to Alaves.

Hagi is said to have fallen below expectations in La Liga, and a move to Galatasaray - where his father is still revered - could be just what the 25-year-old needs to reignite his ailing career.

Either way, his time at Ibrox appears all but finished amidst a huge squad overhaul under Clement, who could bring in funds for much-needed replacements if Hagi commands a decent fee from the Turkish Super League champions.
