John Lundstram and Borna Barisic hold shirt of new clubs after Rangers exit decision

John Lundstram and Borna Barisic have been spotted holding the jersey of Trabzonspor having already sealed their exit from Rangers.

The duo's contracts at Ibrox expired at the end of the season which meant they were free to move to any other club for no transfer fee.

They had been linked with the Turkish side for months [Kuzey Anadolu] and it appears that the deal is now imminent with them posing with the shirts.

Lundstram and Barisic's exit should not be mourned by the fans as they did not consistently strengthen the playing eleven.

The Englishman struggled to adapt to the Scottish game and was often a liability in the middle of the park.

His lack of pace and limited passing range hindered Gers' ability to control games.

On the other hand, Barisic was prone to defensive lapses and lacked the attacking prowess needed to provide width and creativity in the final third.

While both players had their moments, their inconsistency and inability to maintain high levels of performance were evident throughout their time at the club.

Rangers need to sign upgrades in these positions to remain competitive and challenge for titles.

The club should look for players with better technical skills, physical attributes and mental fortitude to meet the demands of the Scottish Premiership.
