Rangers have proven most people wrong after another win against Celtic on Sunday.
Derek McInnes got the better of Martin O'Neill twice within the span of the week, first in the Premier Sports Cup, then in the league on 20 September.
The Gers beat the Hoops 3-0 and 1-0 in successive games, with the Govan side's overall performance remaining the same.
McInnes outclassed O'Neill at Ibrox, then did the same at Parkhead.
The complexion in Scottish football has completely changed after the last two results, with the ex-Hearts boss turning things around after a poor start to the season.
Celtic were deemed to have made better signings after winning all six league matches before the Old Firm derby, but it looks like many people may have judged McInnes' squad too early.

Andrew Cavenagh backed McInnes with 14 new signings in the summer, while Celtic also spent significant sums on Kasper Hogh, Haissem Hassan, Mika Baur and Camilo Duran.
It looked like the Hoops had done better then their Old Firm rivals in the recruitment department after the first month of the season, but the quality is beginnig to show at Ibrox.
Back in August, Gordon Daziel said, "Rangers are in a supermarket with a trolley, just throwing everything in it. Celtic are strolling around M&S, sticking the nice stuff in."
The Gers have now forced a U-turn from the Scot, who has admitted that he was wrong.
Olwethu Makhanya, Dan Neil, James Penrice, Minsu Kim and Kevin Kelsy look like astute additions in G51.
Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard on 20 September, Dalziel said, "When I saw what Celtic were doing, and the price tags, and the player, and the quality of players they were bringing in, I did make that assumption about the supermarket.
"But you've got to say, I think you got a better deal in Asda than you do in Marks & Spencer just now."

Top teams will surely be coming to sign Makhanya from Rangers if he continues his fine form.
The Gers signed the South Africa international for around £3million on a four-year contract and he has exceeded expectations.
Makhanya is not only an aggressive centre-back who isn't afraid to go into challenges, but also has the technical ability and vision to contribute to the Light Blues' build-up play.
The Govan side seem to have unearthed a gem from the MLS who will undoubtedly go for big money in the coming future.
With Neil, Kim and Kelsy also putting in decent performances, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Glaswegian outfit make a profit on them sooner rather than later.
