Hamza Igamane has been seriously linked with a Rangers exit since the January transfer window.

The Moroccan took a while to get going at Gers, but once he found his footing, he became among the first names on the teamsheet.

Last season, he bagged 16 goals and provided three assists in all competitions.

Feyenoord consider record-breaking bid for Hamza Igamane

According to the Daily Record (21 July), Dutch side Feyenoord are serious about signing Igamane.

They are willing to break the bank to secure his services in a "big money" move this summer.

It has been said that a club-record bid is being considered as they're hell-bent on bringing the 22-year-old to the Netherlands.

They have joined a number of sides in the pursuit of the Morocco international and have not been put off by his price tag.

Their president, Toon van Bodegom, is prepared to dig into the coffers to back Robin van Persie to secure the services of Igamane.

Rangers should seriously consider Igamane's sale for big money

While Rangers would prefer to retain Igamane, they must consider cashing in if an offer too lucrative to refuse arrives and Igamane expresses a desire to leave.

Igamane’s potential is undeniable, with his pace, flair and goal-scoring ability making him a key asset in Gers’ pursuit of the Scottish Premiership title.

However, Feyenoord’s willingness to break their transfer record presents a financial opportunity the Ibrox outfit cannot ignore.

This substantial sum could fund multiple high-quality signings to strengthen the squad and close the gap on Celtic.

Accepting Feyenoord’s record-breaking bid would provide Rangers with the resources to rebuild while respecting Igamane’s ambitions, ensuring long-term stability.
