Clinton Nsiala transfer twist as Rangers defender has six days to leave
Rangers outcast Clinton Nsiala could still leave Ibrox after the Scottish transfer deadline.
The French defender was signed in 2024 and has made 17 appearances for the Ibrox side.
However, he was exiled by Danny Rohl, playing just four matches under the German boss.
New manager Derek McInnes has continued to ostracise him and he has not featured once for him.
While the Scottish deadline has now passed, other countries can still sign players from Scottish clubs.

Who wants to sign Rangers flop Clinton Nsiala?
Nsiala is understood to have been given permission to leave the Light Blues.
An update from the Daily Record on 3 September cited reports in France that Cypriot side Pafos FC have made the Gers flop a target.
The transfer window in Cyprus does not close until 9 September, giving Nsiala six days to sort a departure.
The Stelios Kyriakides Stadium outfit are in the UEFA Europa Conference League this season, so would surely be an attractive proposition for the former AC Milan man.
Who are Pafos FC and what kind of opportunity does Nsiala have?
Pafos played in the Champions League last season, beating Spanish side Villarreal 1-0 and losing by the same scoreline to English giants Chelsea.
They have had a remarkable rise to the top of Cypriot football, being founded in 2014, through a merger between AEP Paphos and AEK Kouklia.
Pafos have won the Cypriot First Division once, in the 2024-25 season, and they lifted the Cypriot Cup in the 2023-24 and 2025-26 campaigns.
The Bears will be glad that they are willing to take Nsiala off their hands, as it has not worked out as all parties had hoped.
The player will surely want to take up the chance to play European football, and end a painful chapter in his career where he has been unable to kick on.
