Every Rangers player to react as Danny Rohl sends final Ibrox message
Danny Rohl has quickly jumped ship at Rangers, with his appointment made official at RB Salzburg.
Derek McInnes was also confirmed as his replacement at Ibrox on Wednesday, with all parties moving forward.
Rangers fans believe they've actually secured an upgrade in McInnes, although Hearts fans were not happy.
After Rohl oversaw a monumental collapse at the end of last season, supporters at Ibrox were happy for change.
But, it appears that the Rangers squad have nothing but fond memories.
From Nicolas Raskin to Emmanuel Fernandez, Rangers have paid their respects as they prepare to move forward with McInnes.
Danny Rohl reacts to Rangers exit
The German let the dust settle before sending his official goodbye to fans.
Rohl admitted it was a honour to represent Rangers at Ibrox, insisting he was proud of the work he achieved.
Despite being at the World Cup with Belgium, Raskin took his time to send a personal message over stories.
"Thank you for everything, gaffer," he said. "It's been a real pleasure to work with you."
Outside of that, the likes of Fernandez and Djeidi Gassama would like his farewell to Glasgow.
Danny Rohl gets it wrong
Of course, the work Rohl did was largely positive, but being proud likely isn't the first word that springs to mind.
Russell Martin was a catastrophe, and it's fair to say that the ex-Sheffield Wednesday man surpassed him with ease.
But after working so hard to get more than just back in the title race, Rohl and Rangers simply threw it all away.
Four straight defeats to start the Scottish Premiership split ended all hope, and a third-placed finish is nowhere near good enough.
McInnes and Hearts did the business until the very last day of the season at Celtic, and even then, it was VAR and the SPFL that took that away from them.
Now, with more on the line and bigger budgets, it's up to the former Gers star to prove he can go one further than Rohl and lift countless pieces of silverware.
McInnes is already loved in these parts, and now it's time for him to cement that legacy.
Forget about Rohl, his time has passed.
