Derek McInnes called out for what he's done to Hearts fans already at Rangers
Hearts fans have endured a miserable start to the summer, and it's all because of Rangers.
Not only did they lose the Scottish Premiership title on the final day, but their favourites are dropping like flies.
Days after the season finished, Lawrence Shankland made the move to Ibrox, and it was for absolutely nothing.
Now, Derek McInnes has also packed his bags at Tynecastle, making the move to Glasgow to take over as Rangers manager.
Both were boyhood Rangers fans, and will be fulfilling their dreams, but that means very little to those in Edinburgh.
Just take Ewen Cameron for example, who just can't seem to get his head around the Scotland pecking order.
Derek McInnes not welcomed back at Tynecastle
With the Scottish Premiership fixtures announced on Thursday, everybody was looking for when Rangers will travel to Edinburgh.
That falls on 28 October, and it's the quiet reaction to the end of last season that has left Hearts fans raging.
McInnes is yet to address the failed title push at Celtic, but Hearts fans have seen him speak out following his appointment at Ibrox.
Speaking on X the day after the announcement, Cameron was clearly raging with developments at Tynecastle.
"I haven't heard a peep from him since we lost the league," he said.
"The first thing that we hear from Derek McInnes, is him talking about Rangers.
"The Hearts fans deserve better than that. Derek, I thought you were better than that."Aft
What has Derek McInnes said?
It was a reaction of how proud he was at Ibrox, and all eyes are already on the new season in the Scottish Premiership.
After two failed attempts to previously appoint McInnes, he explained that now was the perfect time, and it's up to him to prove that with success on the pitch.
With Shankland already through the door, the new manager also confirmed that further additions will be made.
Andrew Cavenagh and those on the board have made it no secret that they will spend again in the market, with possibly more of an eye on players closer to home.
With Shankland and McInnes making the short trip down the road, there could be plenty more where they came from.
Just don't tell those raging Hearts fans.
