Why Rangers star Minsu Kim has been compared to Celtic flop Kasper Hogh
Minsu Kim is becoming a small hero at Rangers already.
The winger started again on Saturday as Kilmarnock were brushed aside at Ibrox 3-1 in another victory.
It made it seven wins on the bounce for Rangers, with Derek McInnes finally finding his settled system and players.
Minsu is a huge part of that on the right, yet he's still being questioned by some in the media.
Despite his excellent start, he's yet to score or assist, despite winning every single game he's played in at Rangers.
That has wildly seen him compared to Celtic flop, Kasper Hogh, by the outspoken Keith Jackson.
Minsu Kim is already a Rangers favourite
Minsu was everywhere again on Saturday, tormenting the Killie defenders with ease at times when breaking forward.
Speaking on Hotline Live, Jackson made what looks like an outrageous claim to compare the two.
"He's got all the tools," he said. "I think he looks like a really exciting player.
"But, I also think he needs to get himself up and running, he needs a goal, and he might become a similar problem to Rangers that we talk about with Kasper Hogh at Celtic.
"If your confidence takes a bit of a knock, it becomes more and more of a grind. I'm not saying he's reached that point yet."
Minsu Kim claim is simply laughable
To even suggest a slight comparable between the pair is a joke.
One, Hogh is a striker who has scored goals consistently in the Champions League, yet he looks like he's never kicked a ball in his life at Parkhead.
In and out of the side, he's not fancied by Martin O'Neill or the fans.
Minsu, on the other hand, was an unknown after spells away from Girona on loan, and now he's been given a home.
The South Korean winger is the life and soul of his teams, fearless on and off the ball and makes things happen.
What Celtic would do for a winger like that.
The work done by Kim and Djeidi Gassama opens up games massively, and allows the likes of Ryan Naderi to profit in the box.
With Dundee and St Johnstone up next before big games against Hearts and Aberdeen, Minsu can really make a name for himself.
Sometimes, it only takes one goal or assist to really explode.
