Derek McInnes couldn't have hoped for much more from his first two Old Firms in charge at Ibrox.
The Gers came into the Premier Sports Cup encounter on good form and backed it up with a 3-0 win over the Hoops.
There was an expectation that they wouldn't be able to follow that up in the Premiership away at Parkhead.

That hasn't been met by the reaction Murphy expected as he hit out at the Celtic-based reaction.

Murphy cut in on their conversation and questioned why the Gers aren't getting more credit.
He said: "It is crazy how the main focus since the Old Firms is all about Celtic struggling and Martin O'Neill.
"There's not much 'Well done Derek McInnes and well done to the job he's doing after a difficult start.' It feels like it gets pushed under the carpet."
Every fan at Ibrox will agree, but they also won't care after two wins over Celtic, and their post-match reaction proved it.

After the win at Parkhead, the players boarded a coach back to Ibrox before making their own way home.
They were met by a hoards of fans making their joy known as red, white and blue flares filled the air.
Each player was met by a cheer when getting off the coach and every single one of them enjoyed the atmosphere.
That is proof of the unity that currently surrounds Govan.
It is for that exact reason no one will be caring what is being said by national media, McInnes, his players and fans will just be focusing on themselves.
