As the international break comes to the final games Rangers fans will be eager to see the Bears back in action.

Before players jetted around the world to link up with their nations, the Gers had turned a corner, with Derek McInnes finally getting his ideas to stick.

Sights will be on overthrowing Celtic, who are currently in top spot, with the blue side of Glasgow only two points behind them.

Over the two week break, the Bears had plenty of their squad away on international duty.

And McInnes would have been taking note and keeping track of how they got on.

With three truths learned throughout the process for Rangers and their squad.

Why Findlay Curtis deserves a chance on the right wing

Findlay Curtis faces a tough battle at Ibrox with the wide positions filled with talent.

In the last three games for Rangers has been handed just 54 minutes in total.

However, if there was any player who took the international break as a chance to potentially push for a better role in McInnes' set-up, it was certainly him.

While he didn't make the senior Scotland squad, he was called up for the under-21s.

Curtis registered four assists in one game for the young Scots with praise coming in for his performance against Azerbaijan.

On that occassion, the 20-year-old was operating on the right side of attack, and that may prove he has a role to play there for Rangers.

He deserves a chance to show it.

Djeidi Gassama gets much needed international outcome

While many countries have partaken in four international fixtures over this extended break, Djeidi Gassama's Mauritania are not one of them.

The African nation had just two matches lined-up, with the second of those ending on 29 September.

So, Gassama will have had either a rest following those games, or reporting back early at Auchenhowie.

Both outcomes will be a positive as Gassama has been in fine form for the Bears.

Whether that is to get a break before domestic football returns, or he gets to have extra work with McInnes.

Minsu Kim is a contender for signing of the summer

Minsu Kim has quickly made himself a Rangers fan favourite and he is now laying the ground for the same on the international stage.

With it already being said that "Minsu mania" has arrived in South Korea.

The winger has featured in all of his nation's international games so far, including making his first start against Venezuela.

Kim came up against teammate Kevin Kelsy against Venezuela, with the Rangers pair swapping shirts at full-time.

His performances on the domestic and international level show the Ibrox side have quite the player.

And he is making himself in contention for the Bears' best signing of the summer, and there were many brought in.
