Ryan Naderi utterly atrocious, Daisuke Yokota holds head high: Rangers player ratings vs Jagiellonia

Rangers have been knocked out of the Europa League after failing to perform a comeback against Jagiellonia Bialystok on Thursday.

The Gers hosted the Polish side at Ibrox in hopes of overcoming the 2-1 defeat to advance through to the next round of the Europa League qualification stage, but were shocking again in a 1-1 draw.

Daisuke Yokota's trickery out wide helped win Derek McInnes' side a penalty, which Lawrence Shankland expertly dispatched to get his first goal for the Light Blues in the first half.

However, everything went wrong when Nik Prelec headed home the all-important goal for the visitors, which stunned Ibrox into silence.

Derek McInnes tried to out-tactic Adrian Siemieniec, but a formation change in the second half led to the Bears' downfall.

Rangers' 1-1 draw on the night wasn't enough to progress, as McInnes and his players have lots to reflect on after another damaging performance.

Daisuke Yokota built on positive start vs Jagiellonia

Yokota was highlighted as a positive during Rangers' 2-1 loss to Hibernian, which says something in itself.

The 26-year-old was once again showing his silky movement out on the right, despite having to fill in with defensive duties, being used as a right-wing back at times.

Yokota won Rangers' penalty after delivering a dangerous cross, which former Celtic man Yuki Kobayashi was guilty of blocking with his hand, resulting in a penalty for the hosts.

The Japanese forward was lively all match and by far Rangers' most creative outlet, and looks to be going from strength to strength for McInnes.

Ryan Naderi utterly useless against Jagiellonia

Ryan Naderi had big questions to answer this season, and is yet to start proving people wrong at Ibrox.

Youssef Chermiti's injury came as another chance for the German to do right in Glasgow, but his display against Jagiellonia was another step in the wrong direction.

The striker looked poor on the ball, and stopped Rangers from flowing well in the final third.

He and Shankland have no chemistry yet, and it looks hard to see how McInnes can continue playing the pair together after that.

Even when Naderi positioned himself for a rare chance in front of goal, he made the wrong choices, and epitomised Rangers' overall game against Jagiellonia.
