Four Lads Had a Dream say they don't know anything further about a rumoured Ryan Kent return to Rangers than what every one has seen.

Turkish outlet BBO Sports reported (2 January) that the winger is set for a return to Ibrox as a free agent after his contract at Fenerbahce was terminated in October.

The now 28-year-old spent five seasons playing for the Light Blues in total before his departure in the summer of 2023.

When asked if there was any truth to the rumours on X, Four Lads replied saying: "Don’t know anything about the rumours, other than what everyone else has seen."

Ryan Kent set for a return to Rangers?

This would be a great bit of business for Rangers if they can pull it off.

Kent's spell in Turkey has not gone to plan with the winger making just 19 appearances before having his contract terminated.

However, the 28-year-old being a free agent is exactly the kind of business that the Gers want to be looking at with financial issues leaving Philippe Clement with limited resources during the January transfer window.

In his previous spell at Ibrox, Kent was part of a Rangers side that brought supporters success and therefore, this could be the sort of return that is necessary to change the culture in the dressing room to one with a winning mentality.

As Clement looks to save his job in Scotland, quality additions are necessary to help his side raise their performance levels and it certainly feels as though the former player could provide the level of competition to push the wingers in the squad further.
