Richard Keys has one immediate question on Rangers for Andy Gray
There aren't many clubs with a history like Rangers in world football.
Founded in 1872, there isn't much that hasn't happened to the famous blue in Glasgow.
From their first European success in 1972 to administration and liquidation in 2012, the fans have stuck by them through thick and thin.
In the here and now, Derek McInnes is focused on bringing the 56th Scottish Premiership title back to Ibrox.
With progression in the Premier Sports Cup to the final four at the expense of Celtic, hopes are high for a 29th success there.
But, Richard Keys had one question only for Andy Gray at the start of their latest podcast on the mighty Bears.
What did Richard Keys ask about Rangers?
Gray lived out his dream, playing for his boyhood club, brought to life by Graeme Souness at Ibrox.
Speaking on the latest episode of Keys and Gray Unleashed, they were joined by Charles Green to talk through the horror of that liquidation.
But, immediate thoughts went elsewhere.
Starting to podcast, Keys said: "The Rangers story.
"Glasgow Rangers, do we have to preffice Rangers with Glasgow?"
Gray instantly responded, "Well we are Glasgow Rangers."
What are Rangers officially named?
Unfortunately for Gray, that isn't set in stone.
The Bears are officially known as Rangers Football Club, and always have been, with Glasgow coming from the media, fans and other observors.
On top of that, the holding company were named 'The Rangers Football Club Limited' - brought into place back in 2012 from Sevco.
Rangers FC LLC now includes Andrew Cavenagh, the 49ers and others in the American consortium as owners.
All of this counts for very little on the pitch, though.
Things are finally looking up for McInnes and his squad, with Ryan Naderi currently leading the charge in Govan.
After years in the cold following the success of Steven Gerrard, many have tried and failed for consistent success.
Phillipe Clement lifted the Scottish League Cup, and Giovanni van Bronckhorst took the Gers to the Europa League final, but neither were built on.
Now, it's on McInnes to bring that success back to the famous Rangers, something he has tasted as a player.
