Russell Martin has got off to a largely positive start as Rangers manager, even if his side did suffer a disappointing result on the opening weekend of the Scottish Premiership season.

The Light Blues have already brushed aside their disappointing 1-1 draw with Motherwell at the weekend with an emphatic 3-0 win over Viktoria Plzen.

Martin's side now return to Ibrox to host Dundee FC, with the Bears looking to finally get off the mark in the league.

Rangers supporters can expect warm weather

Rangers and Dundee fans should expect no issues with the weather for Saturday’s clash (9 August).

Temperatures are set to reach 19 degrees in Glasgow, with the heat expected to peak at about 4pm, one hour and 45 minutes before kick-off (Met Office).

It is expected to be the start of a warm week in Glasgow, with temperatures rising to 22 degrees towards the start of next week.

Tickets left for Rangers v Dundee

Tickets are available ahead of the Gers' second SPFL fixture, with remaining tickets released on general sale since 10am on 4 August on the Rangers ticketing website.

The Broomloan Stand and the Copland Stand are almost sold out, though the Bill Struth Main Stand still has plenty of tickets available.

Dundee are expected to be allocated 2,585 tickets for the fixture, in line with the SPL's rules, and there are currently still away tickets available.

Away guide for Dundee fans at Ibrox

Dundee regulars will be used to the trip to Glasgow.

For newcomers to Ibrox, if going by train, Ibrox is at least a couple of kilometres away from Glasgow Central and Queen Street Railway Stations.

Ibrox Stadium has an underground station, which is only a few minutes’ walk away.
