Tam Cowan has blasted Barry Ferguson for his comments over the second postponement of Rangers v Dundee.

The fixture got rescheduled once again due to poor pitch conditions and bad weather which led to fury on the Gers side of things.

Cowan, a BBC presenter, has called out Ferguson for calling the situation a farce.

Speaking live on Off The Ball on BBC Radio Scotland (13 April), as quoted by the Scottish Sun, he said:

"And Barry Ferguson. He called it a farce and embarrassing. Hmm, unlike maybe a certain Scotland captain giving the fingers to the world's media at Hampden?

"Come on, people in glass houses.

"I'm willing to hold my hands up, I can say our pitch was a disgrace."

Rangers and Barry Ferguson in the right about Dundee incident

Ferguson was spot on for calling a spade a spade as the repeated postponements due to the pitch's condition have brought negative attention to Scottish football.

His comments likely stem from his experience as a professional player and his understanding of the importance of proper facilities for the sport.

Dundee should accept the criticism and work towards finding a solution, which could include scheduling games at alternative venues if necessary.

This approach would demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring that matches can be played as scheduled.

By addressing the issue, Dundee can help improve the overall image of Scottish football and avoid similar situations in the future.

Rangers
Philippe Clement and his players await confirmation that their game at Dundee will go ahead.

There is no point in the SPFL not taking action against them because it's ridiculous and Gers and everyone else have rightly called them out.
