Rangers are reportedly on the brink of sealing another first-team signing by getting a deal for Manchester United loanee Jack Butland over the line.

According to the Daily Mail [30 May], they have reached a compromise on the English stopper's wages amid his high demands earlier.

His time at Crystal Palace appears to be coming to an end and is ready to move to Ibrox in the summer on a permanent basis as he's eager on more playing time.

Good move

Butland is a talented goalkeeper who's lost his way in recent years but that does not mean he's no longer an immense goalkeeper.

He's been coveted by some of England's top clubs in the past so there's clearly quality and one Rangers must be able to unleash.

Michael Beale has hinted at a new keeper time and again and he finally seems to be getting his man in Butland after a few initial snags.

Rangers

It's surprising that with Ross Wilson leaving and no sporting director still in place, Gers are getting deals over the line so efficiently.

Only this week, they announced Dujon Sterling from Chelsea and now will be announcing a deal for Butland very soon.

We cannot wait to see who else Beale wants to add to the first-team squad and a lot of new additions will depend on the players who end up leaving.
