Rangers are reportedly looking to find the right price in order to sign South Korea striker Cho Gue-sung who's also wanted by Celtic.

According to the Sun journalist Alan Nixon, the same situation applies for the Hoops as well as every other club trying to secure his services.

Rangers and all other interested clubs were recently handed a transfer boost after he made his intentions pretty clear.

Nixon wrote on Twitter when asked about Gers interest, "Same as every club after him. Trying to find the price that works."

Sign him at the right price

Cho was an important player for South Korea at the World Cup and bagged two important goals for the Asian nation as well.

He's obviously going to have more goal-scoring opportunities at a club like Rangers whose system will be catered around him.

However, signing him is far from straightforward given Celtic's interest in him and the fact that they want this one more than their cross-town rivals.

Giorgos Giakoumakis has been linked with an exit and it seems like he will be bidding farewell to the Hoops this month.

Cho has been identified as his replacement and they could end up paying over the odds to sign him - something Rangers must avoid doing.

It remains to be seen where the South Korean eventually ends up but it's an interesting prospect of thinking of his potential move to Ibrox.
